Mini Exhibition: Huminodun, The Legend of Kaamatan

Learn about the story behind the month long state-wide festivity of Harvest Festival or locally known as ‘Tadau Kaamatan‘. Tadau Kaamatan is celebrated throughout the state in the month of May by few ethnicities namely the Kadazandusun, Murut, Orang Sungai, Rungus dan Lundayeh.
This mini exhibition would tell you a story about the legend of Huminodun and her sacrifices that turned her flesh into the staple food, paddy and rice.
Museum Admission is RM10 (adult) and RM5 (children).
